How to Apply

Applications are made available during the Spring semester—usually, the first part of March.

Minerva prepares students to graduate armed with highly competitive creative advertising portfolios. We are getting a reputation for sending out young art directors and copywriters who are known for their strong work ethic and conceptual thinking ability. How you complete the application will give us a glimpse into how your mind works, and help us evaluate your potential for success in Minerva as an aspiring advertising creative.

To be eligible for Minerva, the creative portfolio specialization, students must be advertising majors. You can change your major to advertising upon acceptance into the program. Specialization course prerequisites include: APR 221, APR 260, MC 101, JCM 103 and are offered during most summer sessions. However, if you are considering applying, it's advisable to get them taken care of sooner than later.
